Identify some family members (mother,father) from the recording and the given pictures;(Cognition) 2. identify the situations for conversations Bill and Sue (setting, participants, topic) 3. Perform the song in interesting ways by using appropriate tone and meaningful gestures;(skill) 4. Show their responsibility and respect for each other when introducing the family members. B. LANGUAGE FOCUS Key terms/ Vocabulary Family members: mother,father Key grammatical structure(s)/ sentence patterns This is my(mother) C. STAGE 3: LEARNING EXPERIENCES/ LEARNING PLAN Activity 1: Warm-up(Greeting & song) - Greet Ss. Remind ss to the previous lesson Play the game “Look and Point”. - Write the words in different areas on the board. - Teacher shows a flashcard. - Students use their fingers to point to the word on the board and say it loudly.Have students say stand up ,sit down and listen Activity 2:Language in put (Activity A: Listen and point. Repeat. ) - Show pictures onTv, play audio, point to each picture - Have students listen to each new word. - Have ss look at their books, play audio again, and point to each picture in their books. - Play audio again and have students listen and repeat. - Use flashcards and ask ss to read the words aloud *play the games with flashcards - Call some students to read aloud (Give feedback) Activity 3: Language in put (Activity B: Listen and point. – P.8) - Show the situational picture (Activity B on page 8) and ask the following questions to help them identify the situation or the context. 1. Point the whole picture and ask “where is it?” (in the living room) 2. Point to the girls, ask “who are the girls?” (Sue and Bill’s mother) 3. Point to the boys, ask “who are the boys?” (Bill and his father) 4. Point to the boy and the girl and ask: And who are they?(Bill and Sue) 5. Point to the activity in each picture and ask : Who is it? Set the scence : Bill is introducing about his family - Play the recording (Track 10), point to the picture while listening. - Play the recording again, ask students to look at the picture in their book, listen and point to the picture. - Have students look, listen and say aloud the sentences - Play the audio again. Have students listen and repeat.And then play audio again. Have students listen, repeat and point. - Point at each word and have students call it out “mother,father.” - Give constructive feedback and correct their pronunciation if necessary.

Activity 4: Practice (Activity C: Sing – P. 8) - Show the lyrics on TV - Play the recording and have students listen. - Play the recording again, have students do actions along - Play the recoprding again, have students listen, sing along, and do the actions. (Give feedback). - Remind Ss to look at the lyrics on page 8 if necessary. Activity 5: Wrap-up & Assignments/ home-link. 1. What have you learnt from the lesson today? OBJECTIVES By the end of the lesson, students will be able to: (Cognition, Skill, Attribute, and Competence) 1. introduce family members. 2.Practice speaking and listening through role-play 3. Play the game “Guess the picture” 4.Show their responsibility and respect for each other when introducing the family members. B. LANGUAGE FOCUS Key terms/ Vocabulary Revision.

Activity 1: speaking and listening practice( role-play) - Point to each person in the pictures and have students call out the words "father/mother". - Demonstrate the activity with a student using the speech bubbles. - Show a flashcard to the class and have students practice the structure. E.g. (Teacher shows a flashcard "mother") This is my mother. - Repeat the activity with another flashcard. - Divide the class into pairs. - Have pairs practice the conversations and swap roles. - Have some pairs demonstrate the activity in front of the class. Activity 2: Controlled & guided practice Task 1: speaking practice (Activity 2: Say) - Divide the class into groups of four.
5. - Have Student A introduce Students C and D as their family members to Student B, and have Student B say “Hello!”. Have Students C and D say “Hello!” to Student B. - Have students swap roles and repeat the activity. - Have some groups demonstrate the activity in front of the class. Task 2: Guided practice (Game-Guess the picture) - Have students look at the example - Divide the class into two teams - Have ss try to guess without looking at the flashcard - Give that team one point if answer correct Activity 3: Wrap -up & Assignments - Ask students to answer the following questions: 1.What have you learnt from the lesson today? (Introducing family members). 2. What’re the core values of the lesson? (Studious and obedient students and love their family.). D.
