- WEEK 28 Date of planning: 26/3/2023 Date of teaching: 30/3/2023 REVIEW 7: Part A, B STAGE 1: DESIRED OBJECTIVES A. OBJECTIVES By the end of the lesson, students will be able to: 1. Revise number from the recording and the given pictures (Cognition) 2.Saying about numbers by using the sentence patterns 3. Show their responsibility and respect for each other while taking part in activities and positive attitudes, appropriate gestures and intonation when saying about numbers B. LANGUAGE FOCUS 1. Vocabulary: 2. Sentence patterns C. INSTRUCTIONAL RESOURCES - Textbook: I-learn Smart Start 1, page 54 - Audios - pictures - a laptop and a TV STAGE 2: ASSESSMENT EVIDENCE Performance Assessment tools Performance Tasks products 1. - Warm-up : Erase the numbers - Have ten students go to the board and write numbers from 1 to ten. - Have other two students come to the board, one says a number and one erases it. - Continue with other pairs. Activity 1: Listen and circle (A or B). - Have students look at the pictures and call out the colors they can see. - Play audio and demonstrate the activity using the example. - Play audio. Have students listen and circle A or B. - Play audio again and check answers as a whole class. Activity 2:Play the "magic finger: (10') - Have students look at the example. - Divide the class into pairs. - Have Student A write a number with their finger on Student B's back. Have Student B try to guess. - Swap roles and repeat. Activity 3: Wrap-up & home-link. 1. What have you learnt from the lesson today? ( saying about numbers) 2. What’re the core value of the lesson? If students think the word you have said is the correct word, they jump to the “True” side. And if not, they jump to the “False” side. - Students that jump to the wrong side are out of the game and sit down. Activity 2: Play the "Chain" game: (10') 1. Have students look at the example. 2. Divide the class into groups of four. 3. Have the student stand up. 4. Have Student A turn to Student B and say a sentence. 5. Next, have Student B turn to Student C and say a sentence, then have Student C say a sentence. 6. Continue until all students have practiced. 7. Have some groups demonstrate the activity in front of the class. Activity 3: Wrap-up & home-link. 1. What have you learnt from the lesson today?
