I .every day/ once / twice a week / month.” 3.Show interests for frequency,by using appropriate gestures and intonation when asking and answering. B. Who are they? (They are Nam and Linda) 2. Where are they? (in their classroom) 3. What are they doing?( talking about frequency.) - Tell students that they are going to listen a conversation among Nam and Linda - Play the recording, ask students to listen and repeat the dialogue - Do choral and individual repetition, pointing to the characters speaking. - Play the recording again for students to listen and repeat. - Elicit the sentence pattern: “How often do you...? I .every day/ once / twice a week / month.” and explain the meaning and the use. Activity 2: full Controlled & less controlled

Task 1: Point and say - Use pictures to elicit: once, twice, do, month, week, partner, project - Point to the first picture and model the task with one student, using the expressions in the bubbles and the word under the picture. Teacher: “ How often do you study with a partner? – Student: I study with a partner every day.” - Ask students to say the phrases chorally and individually. Repeat the same procedure with the rest of the pictures. - Ask students to practice in pairs, using the prompts in the bubbles and the pictures. - Call on some pairs to ask and answer in front of the class and others give comments. Task 2: Let’s talk - Ask them to interview 3 or 4 friends: one student asks the question and the other answers with facts about themselves and then exchange the roles. - Monitor the activity and offer help if necessary. - Call on some groups of students to role-play in front of the class. Activity 3: Wrap-up & Assignments - Ask students to answer the following questions: 1. What have you learnt from the lesson today? Activity 2: Controlled & guided practice Task 1: Writing practice (Activity 2: Write about your daily routine.) - Tell ss that they are going to read and write about their daily routine by answer the questions - Give ss a few seconds to do it - Get ss to swap their answers and checking as a class. - Call some Ss to write on the board.The rest of class give comments. Task 2: Guided practice (Let’s play “ Do the crossword puzzle”) - T guide ss play game - ss play game – others give comments Activity 3: Wrap -up & Assignments - Ask students to answer the following questions: 1. Task 2: Let’s chant. - Tell class that they are going to say the chant: What do you do in the morning? - Play the recording all the way through for pupils to listen and follow in their books. - Play the recording again, pausing after each line for pupils to repeat.
8. - Play the recording once more for pupils to repeat the whole chant. - Put the class into three groups to practice chanting: one chants the questions and the other chants the answers - Get them to practice chanting and doing actions in groups - Invite three groups to say the chant and do actions - Give feedback. - Ask the class to listen again and chant Activity 3: Wrap-up & Assignments - Ask students to answer the following questions: 1. What have you learnt from the lesson today? (Say the sentences with the correct stress). 2. What’re the core values of the lesson? Task 3: Colour the stars - Have the class read the statements and check their comprehension - Give the time to colour the star and invite a few pupils to read the statement aloud - Give further support to pupils who find it difficult to achieve certain objectives. - Give feedback.
